Capoeira-group

Escola de Capoeira The Hague is aimed at the Afro-Brazilian martial art of capoeira, in which music, play, dance, culture and community come together.

Our classes

There are weekly classes in capoeira and in Afro-Brazilian dance and percussion. We also organize workshops and give lectures about capoeira.

The written word

Although capoeira is firmly rooted in the oral tradition, there is a lot being written about her. Filósofo contributes to this corpus with his books and columns.
